Andrew was born and bred in Darwin and has spent a lifetime fishing the Top End's rivers, creeks, estuaries and coastal systems. He's a classroom teacher, a husband and a father of two — and he runs these trips the way he'd want a trip run for his own family.
That means small groups, no rushing, plenty of patience with beginners, and a genuine willingness to keep looking for the next good spot rather than settling for the easy one.

How We Plan Trips
We don't run every day. That's the point.
Plenty of operators run a trip because it's Tuesday. We pick our days around the tides, the weather and the season — because that's what decides whether you go home with a story or a sunburn.
It means dates fill up and some weeks we don't go out at all. It also means when we do go, we're going at the right time.

Trips are selected around tide movement, not a fixed timetable.

Full day trips run March to May. Conditions decide the rest.
Fishing the bite periods
The day is built around being in the right place when the fish are on.

I highly recommend Andrew’s land base fishing tours. There is a saying that “10% of the fisherman catch 90% of the fish”. Andrew is one of the 10% of fisherman. Let him show you how it’s done. He knows when where and how to catch fish. I was lucky enough to catch two great fish. A legal sized barramundi from the shore ,what a buzz! I also landed a nice queen fish that I made into numas
